Illini players get high marks
Duncan, Coleman, Rogers,
Olson, Degeorge, & Danlow

November 12, 2003 - The Central States Collegiate Hockey League has published its list of points leaders and top goaltenders for league games and the Illini fill in some of the top spots. The Illini take up four of the top ten spots and leading the way again this year in the points race is last seasons CSCHL scoring champion Illini Junior Brett Duncan with 14, followed by another Illini Junior, Brian Coleman with 11 points. Only one point behind Coleman with 10 points each are Team Captain Jim Rogers, who sits in the number six spot, and Senior Forward Pat Olson who is just one step lower in seventh. On the other end of the ice are the net minders, and two of the top five spots in the CSCHL rankings are occupied by the Illini goaltenders, Mike DeGeorge and Tim Danlow. Both DeGeorge and Danlow have a better save percentage than the number one spot, but their goals against average is just a fraction higher and puts them in the second and third spots respectively.
