ACHA Poll #3
November 7, 2003 - Four-time defending ACHA Division 1 National Champion Penn State continues its dominance and sits at the top of this weeks polls, with a perfect 10-0 record on the season. The Nittany Lions received 28 of a possible 29 first-place votes, while #2 Illinois received the other first-place vote. It was another busy week of shuffling in the polls, with spots #3-13 all moving around with the exception of #4 Iowa State. Michigan-Dearborn moved up two spots to #3 and will travel to take on #2 Illinois this weekend. Rhode Island moved up three more spots and comes in at #5 with a perfect 11-0 record. Weber State was the big gainer, jumping up five spots and coming in at #6. Lindenwood moved up another two spots to #7, and remain the only other team with an unblemished record at 9-0. Ohio dropped a spot to #8, while idle Minot State dropped three spots to #9. Delaware took the plunge seven spots falling to #10 after losing three of its four games. #11 Arizona opened up its season with three wins and a tie, while Eastern Michigan and Washington & Jefferson flip-flopped at #12 and #13 respectively. Towson, West Chester, and Drexel remained unchanged in the 14-16 spots. Arizona State and Saint Louis traded positions at #17 and #18 respectively. Robert Morris (IL) stayed pat in the #19 position while Kent State makes its season-debut in the polls after splitting with #2 Illinois at home.

The next ranking will be released on Friday, November 21.
