West Bloomfield, MI - The University of Illinois earned its
first-ever #1 ranking, knocking three-time defending ACHA Division 1

years National Championship Game. Minot State, Ohio, and Delaware
remain entrenched in the #3-5 spots. Delaware will travel to Ohio
this weekend to battle for the coveted #4 spot. Arizona moved up a
spot to #6, after winning all four games and putting on an offensive
show the past two weekends . The Icecats put 20 goals on the board
against Robert Morris in two games, then followed that with 22 goals
against Saint Louis in two games on the road. Drexel University used
a home-and-home sweep over Towson to jump up two spots to #7. The
Dragons gutted out a couple of nail-biters, winning 3-1 at home and
3-2 on the road, prompting the Tigers to drop two spots to #8.
Michigan-Dearborn drops a spot to #9 after splitting home-and-home
series with both Michigan and Eastern Michigan. Meanwhile, positions
#10-16 remained the same. Only two weekends remain before the bids
go out for nationals.
