September
29th, 2002 - In appreciation of the fans, and
to help get to know the team a little better, the Illini Hockey club
held a "Skate With the Illini" event Sunday afternoon.
The event was well received by the fans that
attended and fun was had by all. "Skate with the Illini" t-shirts
were handed out and the players willingly signed autographs and
talked with the attendees, as well as took up the challenges for
sprinting down the ice.
